Why Do Foutz Top Hats Need to Be Serviced?

Billet Aluminum top hats utilize a serviceable and replaceable uniball that will have to be serviced from time to time. The uniball is pressed into the billet aluminum housing that we manufacture and the uniball will wear out over time but can be easily replaced with a low cost replacement. The uniballs are not something we manufacture at Foutz Motorsports. The uniball is designed to be a wear item and to be replaced when they start to wear out.

Standard Top Hats — we use the FK uniball part number FKS12T. Replacement part: FK FKS12T Replacement Uniball
Heavy Duty Top Hats — we use the FK uniball part number WSSX14T. Replacement part: FK WSSX14T Replacement Uniball

What Products Require Professional Installation?

It is highly recommended all of our parts are installed by an experienced individual or shop.
It is also recommended that any suspension work is followed by an alignment.
It is recommended that any fabricated Foutz product requiring welding is done by a professional.

Every Foutz upgrade is designed, laser cut, CNC bent, and machined in-house at our facility in Mesa, Arizona, USA.
