2024+ Ford Ranger Raptor Protection Kits | Foutz Motorsports

Ranger Raptor Skid Plates & Guards

Protect your 2024+ Ford Ranger Raptor with American-made skid plates, frame guards, and suspension armor engineered by Foutz Motorsports — the team that built the first Raptor to run the Baja 1000. Whether you're hammering the whoops in Glamis, rock-crawling Moab, or running high-speed desert two-tracks, our Ranger Raptor protection kits shield the most vulnerable points of your truck from rocks, ruts, stumps, and trail debris.

What's in This Collection

This collection includes the complete lineup of Foutz Motorsports protection products for the 2024, 2025, and 2026 Ford Ranger Raptor:

Full Underbody Skid Plate — Heavy-duty front skid plate that protects the oil pan, transmission, and front crossmember. The most comprehensive frontal underbody protection available for the Ranger Raptor.

Rear Differential Skid Plate — Wraps and shields the exposed rear differential housing from rock strikes, stumps, and high-centering damage on rugged trails.

Rear Lower Arm Frame Guard with HDPE Slide — Protects the rear lower control arm mounting points and frame rails. The integrated HDPE slide lets your truck glide over obstacles instead of catching and tearing sheet metal.

Rear Shock Skid Kit — Shields the lower rear shock mount, one of the most commonly damaged components on lifted and hard-driven Ranger Raptors.

Rear Suspension Travel Sensor Protection Guards (Pair) — Cover and protect the factory rear ride-height sensors that control the FOX Live Valve suspension. A single broken sensor can throw fault codes and disable adaptive damping.

Rear Suspension Travel Sensor Wire Protector (Add-On) — Adds an extra layer of armor over the sensor wiring harness to prevent abrasion and tear-outs in heavy mud, sand, and rock environments.

What the Factory Leaves Exposed

The Ford Ranger Raptor is built to be driven hard, but its factory underbody, rear differential, lower control arms, and exposed travel sensors aren't designed to survive sustained off-road abuse. A single hit on a rear shock mount or a snapped suspension travel sensor can sideline your truck and run into thousands of dollars in dealer repairs. Our bolt-on protection kits are CNC-machined and fabricated in the USA from heavy-gauge steel, billet aluminum, and UHMW/HDPE slide material — the same materials we run on our own Baja race trucks.

Every kit is direct bolt-on, requires no permanent modifications, and is engineered specifically for the Next-Gen Ranger Raptor chassis (no universal hardware, no guesswork).

Ranger Raptor Protection FAQs

Do these protection kits fit the 2024, 2025, and 2026 Ford Ranger Raptor?

Yes. Every product in this collection is designed for the Next-Gen North American Ford Ranger Raptor (2024 model year and newer) and bolts directly to factory mounting points.

Will installing skid plates or frame guards void my Ford warranty?

Bolt-on protection products are protected under the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act. Ford cannot void your warranty simply for installing aftermarket protection, though they may deny warranty coverage on a specific part if that part is proven to have caused the failure.

Do I need to drill, cut, or modify my truck to install these?

No. All Foutz Motorsports Ranger Raptor protection kits are direct bolt-on using existing factory mounting locations. Hardware is included.

What material are the skid plates made from?

Our skid plates and frame guards are fabricated from heavy-gauge steel and aerospace-grade aluminum, with HDPE/UHMW slide material on select kits to reduce friction over obstacles. All components are American-made.

How much weight do these kits add to the truck?

Weight varies by product, ranging from approximately 5 lbs for the travel sensor guards up to 66 lbs for the full underbody skid plate. Individual product pages list exact weights.

Are these kits good for daily driving or only for racing?

Both. Our protection kits are designed to survive Baja-level abuse but install cleanly enough for daily-driven trucks that occasionally see the trail.

Where are Foutz Motorsports products manufactured?

100% designed, machined, and fabricated in the USA at our facility in Mesa, Arizona.

How long does shipping take?

In-stock items typically ship within 48 hours. Standard domestic shipping arrives in 3–5 business days. Items that aren't in stock are built to order with a typical lead time of 4–6 weeks.
