What Each Part Does

• Underbody skid plate kit — the main plate package covering the vulnerable centre section.
• Rear differential skid plate — the diff sits low and is expensive to replace.
• Rear shock skid kit — protects the bottom of the rear shocks and their mounting points.
• Rear shock guard mud flap kit — keeps rocks and debris off the shock bodies, which is what kills seals.

Do 2021-2024 TRX skid plates fit the 2027 truck?

No. The 2027 TRX is a different platform and has its own parts. Order by model year.

Which is more important, the diff skid or the shock skid?

On most trucks the rear differential is the more expensive thing to damage. If you run rocky terrain, the shock skids matter just as much because a punctured shock body ends the day.

Do mud flap kits help if I already have shock skids?

Yes — they solve different problems. The skid stops impacts from below; the mud flap guard stops the constant blasting of grit against the shock body and seals.
