Bronco GPS Mounts

Every other GPS mount we build is a centre dash mount. The Bronco is the exception, deliberately.

The Bronco dash is shallow and busy, with little usable flat real estate once you account for the controls and the vents. Putting a 10-inch screen there means covering something you need. The roof panel, by contrast, is proper structure, it is directly in the driver's natural sightline, and it is already engineered to carry load.

So these hang down from the roof panel: high, centred, out of the glare, and out of the way of everything on the dash.

The two Lowrance units are different physical devices and take different mounts. Order by exact model, not by brand — the model is printed on the front bezel.

All three are listed for the 2021+ Ford Bronco and the 2022+ Bronco Raptor with the hardtop roof panel.

A GPS is only as reliable as the mount holding it. Two things go wrong with the usual solutions:

• Suction and friction mounts walk loose. A Garmin TREAD XL is a heavy unit, dashes are not flat, and vibration works at a suction cup all day. Off-road they vibrate, sag, and eventually let go.
• Rigid mounts block your view. A screen big enough to read at speed is a screen big enough to be in the way the other 90 percent of the time.

The fold-down design answers both. It bolts to structure rather than sticking to plastic, and it folds flat when you are not navigating, so the screen is not permanently sitting across your forward view or the centre vents.

Does this work with a soft top?

The mount uses the Bronco hardtop roof panel structure. If you run a soft top, check the product page for your roof configuration or send us a photo and we will confirm before you order.

Will it fit a Bronco Raptor?

Yes. These are listed for both the Bronco and the Bronco Raptor.

Do I need to drill anything?

No. These install using existing roof panel hardware locations. No cutting or permanent modification.

Can I run a dash mount in a Bronco instead?

Our fold-down centre dash mounts are built for truck dashes — Raptor, F-150, Super Duty. For the Bronco the roof mount is the better solution and the one we build.

Does the roof panel come off with the mount installed?

Check the product page for your configuration. If you regularly remove panels, tell us how you use the truck before ordering and we will make sure you get the right setup.

Will it rattle overhead?

The mounts are billet and laser-cut steel bolted to structure, which is what holds a heavy unit steady at speed. That is the whole reason not to use a friction arm.
