Ram TRX Bed Cages

The TRX ships on 35s and a lot of owners go to 37s. Either way, the factory spare hanging under the truck is not the tire on the corners, and finding that out 60 miles into the desert is a bad day.

The bed cage puts a matching full-size spare upright in the bed where you can actually get it down and use it, and it does that without taking the whole bed. Add a second carrier and you have a real chase or pre-run setup.

The organizer mounts on proprietary bolt-in cleats that stay flush with the bed ribs. Pull four quick-release pins and the whole rack lifts out — no brackets left sticking up, no bed floor you have to work around the rest of the week.

Build it out with:

Which TRX years does this fit?

The 2021 through 2024 Ram 1500 TRX, which was sold as a crew cab with the short bed. For the 2027 and up truck, use the 2027+ collection.

Will it hold a 37 inch spare?

The carriers are built for full-size truck spares including oversized off-road tires. Check the specific carrier product page for exact capacity.

Can I keep my bed cover?

Not with the rack installed — it stands above the bed rails. Pull the four pins and the cover goes back on.

Does it interfere with the RamBox?

The organizer sits on the bed floor between the wheel wells and mounts to the bed ribs. If your truck has bed-side storage, check clearance on the product page or call us with your configuration.

Do I need to drill?

The cleats bolt into the bed's existing rib structure. See the product page and our install instructions.

Can I add pieces later?

Yes — that is the whole design. Base organizer first, then carriers, trays, jack mount or lights as you go.
