Gen 3.5 Raptor GPS Mounts

The Centre Dash Fold Down GPS Mount (Garmin TREAD XL) for:

• Gen 3.5 Ford Raptor, 2024 and up — including the Raptor R
• Ford F-150, 2024 and up

Ford changed the centre dash again for 2024, which is why this is its own part rather than a Gen 3 mount with a note attached. A Gen 3 mount will not fit a 2024 truck.

A GPS is only as reliable as the mount holding it. Two things go wrong with the usual solutions:

• Suction and friction mounts walk loose. A Garmin TREAD XL is a heavy unit, dashes are not flat, and vibration works at a suction cup all day. Off-road they vibrate, sag, and eventually let go.
• Rigid mounts block your view. A screen big enough to read at speed is a screen big enough to be in the way the other 90 percent of the time.

The fold-down design answers both. It bolts to structure rather than sticking to plastic, and it folds flat when you are not navigating, so the screen is not permanently sitting across your forward view or the centre vents.

Will a Gen 3 mount fit my 2024 truck?

No. The dash changed for the Gen 3.5. Order the 2024+ version.

Does it fit a standard 2024 F-150?

Yes — this mount is listed for the 2024-up F-150 as well as the Gen 3.5 Raptor.

Is there a Lowrance version for this dash?

Currently we build the TREAD XL mount for the Gen 3.5 dash. Lowrance HDS7 Live and HDS7 Carbon mounts are available for the Gen 3 dash. If you need a Lowrance mount for a 2024+ truck, call (480) 718-9800 — we make these in-house and we do one-offs.

Why not just use a suction mount?

Because a TREAD XL is heavy and the dash is not flat. Off-road, suction mounts vibrate, walk and eventually fall — usually at the moment you most want to see the screen.

Does it fit the Raptor R?

Yes. The Raptor R shares the Gen 3.5 dash.

Do I need to drill anything?
