Gen 1 Ford Raptor Parts & Upgrades

The Original Raptor, Built Better by the Team That Raced It First

Foutz Motorsports is the most trusted source for 2010-2014 Ford Raptor parts, suspension kits, and off-road upgrades. FMI founder Greg Foutz was the first builder to modify, race, and finish the Baja 1000 in a Ford Raptor — a story documented in the film "Raptor Born in Baja." Every Gen 1 Raptor part on this page is engineered, tested, and proven by the team with more first-generation Raptor race miles than anyone in the industry.

What's in This Collection

Whether you're chasing long-travel desert performance, preserving a daily driver, or converting your Gen 1 chassis to run Gen 3 geometry, this collection has the components to get it done right. It covers every major upgrade path for the 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013 and 2014 Ford F-150 SVT Raptor.

Front suspension

Mid travel kits with billet or fabricated upper arms, and the +3" long travel front kit with fabricated upper arms. Fabricated lower control arms, fabricated front spindle kits, billet tie rods, uniball taper spacers, and FOX 3.0 or ADS 3.0 bypass shock packages.

Rear suspension

Long travel 5-link coilover conversion kits — including a version with 19 inches of travel — 4-link rear kits, MIG-welded extended shackles, fabricated rear shackle hangers, Currie 9" full floater rear ends, ICON multi-rate leaf packs, and rear bump stop kits.

Gen 1 conversion kits

The Gen 1 to Gen 3 rear suspension conversion as a complete kit or à la carte, plus a Gen 1 to Gen 2 coil bucket conversion kit.

Billet aluminum components

Upper control arm kits in stock length, standard and heavy duty billet top hats (stock height and 1.5" lift Phase 1), billet tie rod kits, half tie rods, top caps, and lower A-arm slot block kits.

Sway bar kits

Gen 1 Raptor front sway bar kits for both the stock lower arm and the fabricated lower arm, plus individual frame mounts, arms, linkage and bars sold separately for repairs and custom builds.

Protection & service parts

Underbody skid plate kits, rear differential skid plates, rear lower shock skid kits, full-length aluminum shock guards, rear shock guard mud flap frame mounts, front shock tower support rings, lower arm rear pivot reinforcement brackets, lower control arm pocket replacement kits, tie rod boots, and longer-than-stock lower control arm bolt upgrade kits.

Bed organizers & tire carriers

Modular Gen 1 Raptor bed organizers, single and dual quick-release tire carriers, fuel jug trays, VP Racing fuel jugs, side jack mounts, upright support tubes, PACKOUT mounting plates, and off-road seat back panel kits.

Shocks & springs

FOX 3.0 Series 10" custom-valved bypass shocks (left and right), FOX 3.0 factory upgrade bypass and DSC coilovers, ADS 3.0" bypass front shock kits, Eibach Pro-Lift coil springs, and factory race bump stops.

Mid Travel vs. Long Travel: Which Front Kit?

This is the question we get most often on the Gen 1, and the honest answer is that it depends on what the truck does the other 350 days a year.

Mid travel

Uses the stock frame mounting points and adds billet or fabricated upper arms, with optional FOX 3.0" or ADS 3.0" bypass shocks. Track width stays close to stock, so the truck still fits down a trail and still parks in a garage. This is the daily-driver-friendly upgrade — a real gain in wheel travel and damping without committing to a wider truck.

+3" long travel

Widens the front track for maximum wheel travel and high-speed desert performance, paired with fabricated upper arms, 3.0" bypass shocks and bump stop hardware. More capability, more installation, and a wider stance you will notice on tight trails and in traffic.

Both are available as bare kits if you already own shocks, or with custom-valved shock packages tuned for the Gen 1 by the FMI team.

Gen 1 to Gen 3 Rear Suspension Conversion

The Gen 1 left the factory on leaf springs. Our conversion brings modern Gen 3 Raptor 5-link coil rear geometry to a 2010–2014 chassis — the single biggest change you can make to how the truck behaves at speed.

It is available as a complete Gen 1 to Gen 3 Raptor Rear Suspension Conversion Kit, or à la carte so you can build it in stages:

  • 5-link rear arm frame mount kit
  • Rear spring & panhard bar mount kit
  • Stock location upper shock mount kit
  • Rear bump stop kit

There is also a Gen 1 to Gen 2 coil bucket conversion kit if you are going that route instead.

Why Foutz Motorsports for Gen 1 Raptor Parts

  • First to race a Raptor. FMI built and campaigned the original Raptor R race truck at the Baja 1000 in 2008 — before the truck even hit dealer lots.
  • Made in the USA. Every Foutz-branded part is American-made and built to handle real off-road abuse, not just look good in the driveway.
  • Engineered for upgrade paths. Our Gen 1 to Gen 3 conversion kits are the only complete solution that lets you run modern Raptor rear suspension geometry on a 2010–2014 chassis.
  • Backed by 25+ years of off-road racing. Making off-road great since 1998.
  • Still supported. The Gen 1 is over a decade old and we still stock service parts for it — bolts, boots, spacers, pivot brackets and pocket repair kits.

Gen 1 Raptor FAQs

What years does the Gen 1 Ford Raptor cover?

The first-generation Ford F-150 SVT Raptor was produced from 2010 through 2014. All parts in this collection fit those model years unless otherwise noted on the individual product page.

Can I convert my Gen 1 Raptor to Gen 3 rear suspension?

Yes. Foutz Motorsports offers a complete Gen 1 to Gen 3 Raptor Rear Suspension Conversion Kit, along with à la carte components — 5-link arm frame mounts, spring and panhard bar mounts, stock-location upper shock mounts, and rear bump stop kits — so you can build the conversion in stages.

What's the difference between the mid travel and long travel front suspension kits?

The mid travel kit uses the stock frame mounting points and adds billet or fabricated upper arms with optional 3.0" bypass shocks, keeping track width close to stock — a daily-driver-friendly upgrade. The +3" long travel kit widens the front track for maximum wheel travel and desert performance, paired with fabricated upper arms, 3.0" bypass shocks, and bump stop hardware.

Do you offer suspension kits with shocks included?

Yes. Front suspension kits are available with custom-valved FOX 3.0" or ADS 3.0" bypass shocks tuned specifically for the Gen 1 Raptor by the FMI team. Bare kits are also available if you already own shocks.

Do you still make parts for a truck this old?

Yes. Alongside the suspension kits we keep Gen 1 service and repair parts in the catalog — lower control arm bolt upgrade kits, tie rod boots, uniball taper spacers, lower arm rear pivot reinforcement brackets, lower control arm pocket replacement kits, and replacement shock guards.

Are these parts compatible with the 2010 SuperCab Raptor and the 2011-2014 SuperCrew?

Most front suspension, billet, and bed organizer components fit all Gen 1 Raptor cab configurations. Check each individual product page for cab-specific notes.

How long does shipping take?

In-stock items ship within 48 hours, with standard domestic shipping in 3-5 business days after dispatch. Next-day shipping is available for an additional charge. Built-to-order parts typically have a 4-6 week production lead time.

Do you ship Gen 1 Raptor parts internationally?

We ship directly to the United States and Canada. For other destinations, we can recommend a freight forwarder — contact our sales team for help.
