Why Slotted, Not Drilled

New guide: The Best Light Mounts for Stock Ford Bumpers — how our Super Duty kit compares to the other ways of adding lights, what fits on the bar, and exactly what the install involves.

Our Super Duty light mounts are slotted rather than drilled to one brand's bolt pattern, so you run the light you already own instead of buying into somebody else's light package. Baja Designs, Rigid Industries, NACHO, KC HiLiTES — 6-inch and 9-inch rounds, LP4/LP6/LP9 pods, or a 40-inch curved light bar. The radius-bent tube follows the factory bumper line and mounts to the existing bumper structure, sharing one of the OEM front bumper bolts on each side — the simplest install in our light mount line. It clears the parking sensors and the adaptive cruise control radar, so nothing on the dash changes.

Super Duty Light Mount FAQs

Which Super Duty trucks does this fit?

The Ford F-250, F-350 and F-450 Super Duty, model years 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025 and 2026, with the factory front bumper.

Do I have to buy your lights to use the mount?

No. The top plate is slotted for adjustability, so almost any round light, pod or light bar will bolt up. Lights are sold separately.

Will it interfere with the parking sensors or adaptive cruise control?

No. The mount is shaped and positioned to clear the factory sensors and the adaptive cruise radar. Just keep the lights themselves off the radar face when you set your layout.

Do I have to cut or drill my bumper?

No drilling is required and the bumper stays on the truck. The mount bolts to the factory bumper structure using the existing OEM hardware. On the 2020 and up Super Duty trucks you do have to clearance the plastic cover that hides the bumper mounting bolts, so the tube can pass through it to the mounting surface behind — that is a plastic trim cover rather than the bumper itself, and it is not visible once the mount is installed. Full detail is in our stock bumper light mount guide.

How long does it take to get one?

We normally have Super Duty light mounts in stock and ready to ship. If the kit is out of stock when you order, it takes roughly 2-4 weeks for us to complete the next production run. They are welded, finished and inspected in our Mesa, Arizona shop before they ship.
