2021-2026 Ford F-150 Raptor Rear Bump Stop Kit - Gen 3 & Gen 3.5

A shock controls the suspension through the middle of its stroke. It is not designed to stop the suspension at the end of it. That job belongs to the bump stop, and it is the difference between the truck absorbing a big hit and the truck taking one.

Without a proper bump stop

The axle runs to the top of its travel and the energy has nowhere left to go but into the shock mount, the frame and the link mounts. That is the sound and the shudder you feel through the seat when a whoop is bigger than you expected. Repeat it enough times and it is also how shock mounts and link mounts end up cracked.

With one

The bump stop starts working before the suspension is out of travel and builds resistance the further it compresses. The axle decelerates over the last few inches instead of arriving all at once. The truck stays settled, you keep your speed, and the parts around it stop taking the full load.

Why it matters more on a long travel truck

The more wheel travel you add, the more energy is in the system by the time the suspension reaches the end of its stroke. This kit works on a stock Raptor and on our long travel rear kits, and on a long travel build it is not optional — it is what controls the final few inches of 19 inches of wheel travel.

Every version ships with the same complete kit — the mounts, the rear axle bump plates, and all the hardware needed to install it. The bump stops are the only variable.

You get the full mount kit and axle plates with no bump stops included. The mounts are built to the 2.5" race bump stop standard, so anything on that standard threads straight in — Fox 2.5, King 2.5 and ADS 2.5 Classic all fit.

Select Fox 2.5 or ADS 2.5 and the bump stops come in the box with everything else. One part number, nothing left to source, nothing to check for thread compatibility.

Why we build it to a standard rather than to one brand

Sticking to the 2.5" standard means you are never locked to a single supplier. A bump stop that wears out years from now is replaced with whatever you can actually get, not whatever the bracket happens to accept.

In every version, whichever bump stop option you choose:

• Gen 3 Raptor rear bump stop mounts — laser cut, CNC bent and MIG welded
• Rear axle bump plates, left and right, so the bump stop lands on a flat prepared surface instead of the axle tube
• All necessary installation hardware
• Hammer Black textured powder coat throughout

Does the kit include the bump stops?

That is your choice at checkout. Pick Fox 2.5 or ADS 2.5 and they are included. Pick None and you get the mounts, axle plates and hardware to fit bump stops you already own. Either way the mount kit is complete.

Does this fit a 2025 or 2026 Raptor?

Yes. It fits 2021 through 2026 Gen 3 and Gen 3.5 trucks, Raptor R included.

Will it work on a completely stock Raptor?

Yes. The kit is designed to work on a 100% stock truck. You do not need links, shocks or a lift first.

Does it require drilling?

No. It is a bolt-on installation using existing locations, with no drilling required.

Does it work with 35" and 37" tires?

Yes, both factory tire packages.

Which bump stops fit the mounts?

Anything built to the 2.5" race bump stop standard — Fox 2.5, King 2.5 and ADS 2.5 Classic all thread in.

Will it work with the Foutz Motorsports long travel rear kit?

Yes. The same kit fits a stock rear end and our long travel rear suspension kit, so a bump stop kit bought now still works after the truck gets built further.

Should I run limit straps too?

They solve the opposite problem. Bump stops control the suspension at full compression; a limit strap kit stops it overextending at full droop and protects the shocks from topping out. Most trucks that get driven hard want both.

Where is it made?

Cut, bent, welded and finished in-house at our facility in Mesa, Arizona, USA.

Bump stops and limit straps are the cheapest real gain on a Gen 3 rear end. After that:

• Rear limit strap kit — the other end of the stroke
• Billet rear trailing arms and panhard bar — 15" of rear wheel travel with the factory shock
• Rear link frame mount gusset kit — the factory link mounts are the known crack point on a truck that gets landed
• Long travel rear kit — 19" of rear wheel travel
