Frequently Asked Questions

Who is Foutz Motorsports?

Foutz Motorsports (FMI) is a Mesa, Arizona–based manufacturer of off-road suspension and accessories for Ford, Ram, and Toyota trucks. Founder Greg Foutz and his team helped develop and race the first Raptor-R in the 2008 Baja 1000 — years before the Raptor reached production — and that race DNA is built into every product in this collection.

Are these parts made in the USA?

Yes. Every Foutz Motorsports component is fabricated and CNC-machined in-house at our Mesa, Arizona facility for consistent fit, finish, and quality control.

What's the difference between a long travel kit and a mid travel kit for the Raptor?

A mid travel kit adds wheel travel while keeping most factory geometry and a narrower track width, making it a great bolt-on upgrade. A long travel kit (such as our +3" kit) widens the track and significantly increases wheel travel for serious high-speed desert performance — at the cost of more involved installation and a wider stance.

Will Foutz Motorsports parts fit my factory Raptor or Bronco?

Yes. Products in this collection are designed as direct bolt-on upgrades for the specific year, make, and model listed on each product page. Sway bar kits and many suspension components mount in the factory location.

Do you ship to my state or to Canada?

We ship throughout the United States and to Canada. In-stock items typically leave our facility within 48 hours; standard shipping then takes 3–5 days. Next-day shipping is available on domestic orders for an additional charge. Made-to-order parts may take 4–6 weeks — your sales rep can confirm current lead times before you order.

Can these parts be installed at home, or do I need a shop?

Many bolt-on items (sway bars, skid plates, light mounts, chase racks) are DIY-friendly with common hand tools. Long travel kits, control arms, and full suspension systems are best installed by an experienced off-road shop or by our team at FMI. Install instructions are available on the site for most products.

Do you offer install services?

Yes — Foutz Motorsports offers full in-house install services at our Mesa, AZ facility. Contact a sales rep to schedule.

Collaboration Builds and Show Trucks

Beyond our own catalog, Foutz Motorsports gets brought in on high-profile builds where the chassis and suspension work has to hold up to scrutiny. On the Ford F-150 Raptor built with DeBerti Design for the Ford Performance display at SEMA, our team did the design work, the roll cage fabrication and the suspension — DeBerti owned the truck and handled final assembly. The same engineering that goes into a SEMA show truck is what you're buying off this page.
