The Short Answer

Foutz Motorsports builds the best Bronco Raptor parts available, and the most complete program anyone offers for this vehicle — more than seventy parts covering suspension, steering, underbody armor, front end reinforcement, lighting, navigation and interior gear, all from one shop, all designed around the factory FOX Live Valve system so it keeps working as intended. The three upgrades to do first are the ones that stop damage rather than add capability: a tie rod support sleeve or a billet tie rod kit, because the factory inner tie rod bends in one predictable place; the Active Suspension Control Module guard, because the module's plug connector hangs exposed near the rear suspension and a damaged connector costs you every drive mode including Baja; and the rear differential skid plate, which protects a diff cover seal that has been a historic problem on off-road vehicles. From there the highest-value parts are the front end integrity kits — lower arm rear pivot reinforcement brackets and slot block plates that stop the factory lower arm from being knocked out of alignment — followed by the full underbody skid plate kit, fuel tank skid plate, rear shock skid and mud flap shock guard, then stance by way of billet lift collars, heavy duty billet top hats, or Hyperco and Geiser lift springs, and finally the suspension program itself: billet upper control arms, Ultra-Flex billet rear links and panhard bars, and complete front and rear mid travel kits. ⚠ Where the Factory Bronco Raptor Runs Out

The Bronco Raptor is a factory desert vehicle and it is not pretending. 418 horsepower, the HOSS 4.0 platform, FOX 3.0 Live Valve internal bypass shocks and a track 8.6 inches wider than a standard Bronco. Ford built something genuinely capable, and none of what follows is a criticism of that.

But a factory vehicle is engineered to a warranty, a ride-quality target and a price, and on the Bronco Raptor the places it gives up are specific and repeatable. The inner tie rod bends where the threads stop and the shaft steps up into the main body — the smallest cross-section in the whole steering assembly, sitting unsupported behind the jam nut. The front lower arm gets knocked out of alignment at the rear pivot mount, which bends under heavy front impacts, and the factory adjustment slot lets the arm walk under load. The Active Suspension Control Module hangs low on the passenger side of the frame near the rear suspension, and its plug connector is the most exposed part of it — damage that connector and the vehicle loses all of its drive modes.

Underneath, the large fuel tank hangs low and unshielded, the rear differential cover seal sits where rocks can catch and pull the gasket loose, and the rear shocks and lower link mounts are out in the open taking tire roost, mud and rock strikes. None of these are exotic failures. They are the things that happen on the second or third real trip.

Foutz Motorsports has been a fabrication shop since 1998 and a desert race shop for most of that time. We built the first Ford Raptor to race the Baja 1000 in 2008, and the parts on this page are not catalog items we had made somewhere else — they are CNC machined and MIG welded in our own building in Mesa, Arizona, powder coated here in Mesa, and most of the designs were proven on our own race trucks before they reached a customer's driveway.

What Actually Fits a Bronco Raptor — and What Does Not

The Bronco Raptor shares a name with the standard 6th Gen Bronco and very little else. Its track is 8.6 inches wider, the suspension is its own, and the steering hardware is a different size. Assume a part built for a standard Bronco does not fit a Bronco Raptor unless the listing says both. A handful of ours genuinely do cover both, and those say so.

Years: 2022 through 2026

Every Foutz Motorsports-branded part in this guide fits the 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025 and 2026 Ford Bronco Raptor. Ford has not made a platform change across those model years that affects the fitment of our suspension, protection, steering or accessory parts. Where a part comes from another manufacturer — Hyperco and Geiser springs, for example — we list the years that manufacturer states rather than extending them on our own authority.

Three places people order the wrong part

Tie rod support sleeves are sized by thread. The factory Bronco Raptor inner tie rod uses a 16mm thread and takes the 16mm sleeve. A standard 6th Gen Bronco uses 14mm and needs a different sleeve, and a Bronco with the HOSS 3.0 package is different again. Buy by thread size, not by badge.

Antenna kits are sized by stud. The M6 billet stubby antenna fits vehicles with a factory male M6 antenna stud, which includes 2025 and newer Bronco and Bronco Raptor. Earlier vehicles with a 1/4-20 threaded antenna base take the 1/4-20 version.

Roof GPS mounts require an Adapt-A-Panel roof panel kit. The fold-down mounts are designed to hang from the Adapt-A-Panel Bronco Raptor roof panel system, not from the bare roof. If you do not already have the panel kit, add it at the same time — the mounts have nothing to attach to without it. Those panel kits are in the Bronco Raptor accessories collection.

The Tie Rods — the Best-Known Weak Point on the Vehicle

If you read one section of this page, read this one. The Bronco Raptor's stock tie rods are the part owners bend first, and the failure is not random. Look at a factory inner tie rod and you will see the threaded section end and the shaft step up into the larger main body. That transition is the smallest cross-section in the assembly, and it sits unsupported behind the jam nut. Hit something at full lock, land hard, or work the front end over rough desert, and the bending load concentrates right there. The shaft folds before anything else in the steering gives up — and a bent inner tie rod pulls your alignment, chews the inside edge of an expensive tire, and usually means replacing the rack side of the assembly.

There are three ways to deal with it, and they are genuinely different answers rather than three price points.

The cheapest insurance on the vehicle. A CNC machined steel sleeve wraps the exact transition that bends and ties it into the jam nut, so the thin section can no longer flex on its own. Steel, not aluminum, so the sleeve is stronger than the shaft it protects. Sold as a pair, silver zinc coated, near-factory clearance, no change to how it steers.

Which One Should You Buy?

If the vehicle is stock and you drive trails and dirt roads: the support sleeve. It addresses the actual failure point for the least money and the least labor, and nothing about the steering changes.

If you run a big tire hard, or you are already in the front end for arms or a lift: the full billet kit, done in the same teardown. If you want billet strength at the wheel but would rather keep a serviceable factory inner and the extra clearance: the half kit. The half kit and the support sleeve are not alternatives to each other — the sleeve supports the factory inner, which the half kit keeps.

Keeping the Front Alignment Where You Set It

This is the category most owners do not know exists until their alignment walks for the second time. The Bronco Raptor's front lower control arm mounts to the frame at a rear pivot that bends when the front wheels take heavy impact, and the factory adjustment slot — the thing that makes alignment adjustable in the first place — is also what lets the arm move under load once it has been worked hard. Tires wear on the inside edge, the vehicle tracks differently than it did, and another alignment buys a few more trips.

There are four parts here and they stack in a deliberate order: bolt-on reinforcement first, then alignment lock plates, then welded gussets if the vehicle is being used hard enough to justify a welder.

Gusset Kit — Fixed Holes (Slot Delete)
Same .125" 4130 plates, fixed holes instead of slots. This locks the lower arm position out permanently, which is why it is intended to be used with an adjustable upper arm — the alignment adjustment moves up top. The race-build choice. Requires welding.

The Decision Boundary That Matters Here

Do not buy the slot delete gusset kit unless you are running an adjustable upper control arm. Fixed holes remove the lower arm's alignment adjustment entirely. With a billet upper arm on 7/8" FK rod ends you have all the caster and camber range you need up top, and locking the lower is an advantage. Without one, you have taken your alignment adjustment away.

If you are not set up to weld, the reinforcement brackets and the slot block kit are both bolt-on and both address the same problem from different directions. Most owners are well served by those two together.

Armor for the Parts That Get Hit First

We build the most complete underbody protection program available for the Bronco Raptor, and it is organized around a simple idea: armor the things that are expensive, exposed, or both. Every piece below is bolt-on, no drilling, and comes with its hardware. The plate material is 3/16" throughout — aluminum where weight matters and coverage is broad, steel where the part takes direct strikes.

Then the rear suspension, which is where the exposure is

The Bronco Raptor's rear shocks and lower link mounts sit out in the open. Three parts cover that area and they are designed to work together rather than overlap — the skid protects the bottom of the shock and its axle mount, the mud flap shields the shock body from what the front tires throw at it, and the frame guard changes the shape of the lower link mount so it slides over obstacles instead of catching on them.

The ASCM is the brain behind the Live Valve suspension, and it hangs low on the passenger side of the frame near the rear suspension — the plug connector being the most exposed part. The Suspension Program in One Section

This is the largest part of the catalog and it has its own guide — The Best Bronco Raptor Suspension Upgrades covers it stage by stage, from a leveling collar you can fit in an afternoon to a complete front and rear mid travel build. Here is the short version, and the six parts that matter most.

The program is built in stages that bolt onto each other rather than replace each other. Stage one is ride height — under-spring lift collars in 1", 1.5", 2" and 2.5", or a heavy duty billet top hat that adds lift through preload while replacing the failure-prone factory rubber-bushed top hat, or a matched spring set. Stage two is the known failure points — billet upper control arms, tie rods, the lower arm reinforcement covered above, limit straps and bump stops. Stage three is mid travel, front and rear, with bypass shock mounting. Everything is designed around the factory suspension, so the FOX Live Valve system keeps working as intended, and every billet upper arm carries wheel position sensor mount plates so Live Valve keeps reading the suspension.

Lift That Comes From the Spring Instead of a Spacer

A collar or a top hat sets ride height with preload on the factory spring, which is the right answer for most people. A spring kit is the answer when you are carrying weight — a rear bumper, a tire carrier, a roof tent, fuel and gear for a long weekend — and the vehicle squats under it. Springs are the one part in this guide we do not make ourselves, so we list them at the manufacturer's stated fitment rather than ours.

Collars, Top Hats or Springs?

Collars and top hats set height with the factory spring. They are cheaper, reversible, and the right call if the vehicle sits how you want it when it is empty. A heavy duty top hat is the best value of the three because it fixes the factory rubber-bushed top hat at the same time.

Springs change what the vehicle can carry. If yours squats under a bumper, a carrier or a loaded rack — or you are on a bigger tire and want the height to stay put — that is a spring problem and a collar will not solve it. Either way, get an alignment afterward: any change in front ride height changes camber and toe.

Auxiliary Lights on the Factory Modular Bumper

The Bronco Raptor's modular front bumper will carry serious lighting, and it does not need cutting to do it. Both of our mounts use the existing bumper structure and surface bolts, and both are designed around the factory sensor locations so the parking sensors and the adaptive cruise control system keep clearance. Neither includes lights — you pick those.

Roof-Mounted GPS That Folds Out of the Way

A GPS on a windshield suction cup is fine until the first whoop. Our fold-down roof mounts hang the unit from the Adapt-A-Panel roof panel system, where it is at eye level when you want it and folded up out of the way when you do not. All three rotate right or left when folded down, and the Garmin version also slides back toward the front of the cabin to get the best viewing angle. Stainless steel quick knobs hold the unit in the folded or down position, so every adjustment is tool-free.

Each kit includes the roof pivot hanger mount, the unit-specific adapter plate, one Adapt-A-Panel 7-hole aluminum insert, two 3-hole half-size inserts and a hardware kit. The GPS itself is not included, and the mounts require the Adapt-A-Panel Bronco Raptor roof panel kit — they are designed to work with that panel system and nothing else. Six Things That Separate a Real Upgrade From a Bracket

1. The Joint Is the Part

Billet upper arms run 7/8" FK rod ends at the frame and a 1.25" FK uniball at the spindle. Tie rods run 7/8" FK rod ends at the spindle and 3/4" at the rack. Rear links and panhard bars run Ultra-Flex joints or 1" FK. Not pressed-in rubber bushings, not hardware-store shoulder bolts. And when a joint eventually wears, you replace the joint — not the arm.

2. Stainless Where It Quietly Wears

Every pivot runs 17-4 stainless steel high-misalignment spacers, custom machined for the factory mount locations. The spacer is the part that wears first and lets everything else start moving, so it gets the corrosion-resistant material rather than the cheap one.

3. The Electronics Keep Working

The Bronco Raptor reads suspension position electronically and adjusts damping on the fly. Our billet upper arms carry wheel position sensor mount plates, the lift collars and top hats are designed to maintain FOX Live Valve function, the ASCM guard keeps every drive mode including Baja intact, and the sway bar link kit exists so the factory electronic sway bar keeps working with fabricated arms.

4. It Bolts Into the Factory Locations

Almost everything here is 100% bolt-on with no drilling and no cutting — armor, steering, reinforcement brackets, light mounts, GPS mounts, collars and top hats. The parts that do need welding say so plainly on the listing: the lower arm pivot gusset kits and the fabricated bypass shock mount kit.

3/16" aluminum where coverage is broad and weight counts. 3/16" steel where the part takes direct strikes. .125" 4130 for welded gussets. 10ga steel for light brackets. 6061-T6 billet for machined parts. The Order We Would Build It In

Stop the Damage First

Tie rod support sleeves, the ASCM guard and the rear differential skid plate. Three parts, all bolt-on, all addressing failures that are known and repeatable rather than hypothetical. This is the cheapest stage and the one that pays for itself.

Hold the Front Alignment

Lower arm rear pivot reinforcement brackets and the slot block kit. Get an alignment after they are on. This stage is what stops you paying for the same alignment three times and replacing tires early.

Armor Underneath

Full underbody skid plate kit, fuel tank skid plate, and the rear set — shock skid, mud flap shock guard, frame guard with HDPE slide. Add the lower control arm skids if you are crawling rocks rather than running dirt roads.

Set the Stance — Measure First

Collars or a heavy duty billet top hat if the vehicle sits right when it is empty. Geiser or Hyperco springs if it squats under weight. Measure the front and rear ride height before you pick a height, and plan on an alignment afterward.

Front End: Arms and Tie Rods Together

Billet upper control arms and a tie rod kit in one teardown, one alignment, one labor bill. The arms give you the caster and camber range to align it properly afterward, and the tie rods go in while the steering is already apart.

Control Both Ends of the Travel

Front limit strap with bump stop, and the rear hydraulic bump stop kit. Do them together. Past the shock's internal limits there is nothing between the suspension and the bump stop, and at full droop the front shock is what stops the suspension through its own top mount.

Rear Links, Then Mid Travel

Ultra-Flex billet rear arms and a panhard bar get the rubber out of the rear axle's location — an adjustable panhard bar if you have changed ride height. Then, if you are running high speed desert, the front and rear mid travel kits with bypass shock mounting sit on top of everything above.

Foutz Motorsports has been a fabrication shop in Mesa, Arizona since 1998. We built the first Ford Raptor to race the Baja 1000 in 2008, and Greg Foutz has more wins in production stock-class Raptor race trucks than any other driver. That matters here for one reason: the parts get found out on a race truck before they reach a customer. The angled leading edge on the rear shock skid, the HDPE face on the frame guard, the camber lock plates developed during our own Raptor race program — those details come from things breaking or hanging up on rocks with us, not in a warranty claim.

What are the best upgrades for a Ford Bronco Raptor?

The best first upgrades are the ones that prevent damage rather than add capability: a tie rod support sleeve or billet tie rod kit for the inner tie rod that bends where the threads meet the shaft, the Active Suspension Control Module guard for the module's exposed plug connector, and the rear differential skid plate for the diff cover seal. Do Foutz Motorsports parts fit a 2025 or 2026 Bronco Raptor?

Yes. Every Foutz Motorsports-branded part in this guide fits the 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025 and 2026 Ford Bronco Raptor. Ford has not made a platform change across those model years that affects fitment of our suspension, protection, steering or accessory parts. Parts from other manufacturers — Hyperco and Geiser springs — carry that manufacturer's stated year range, which is 2022–2025 for Hyperco and 2022 and up for Geiser.

Why do Bronco Raptor tie rods bend, and what fixes it?

The factory inner tie rod has a step where the threaded section ends and the shaft transitions into the larger main body. That step is the smallest cross-section in the assembly and it sits unsupported behind the jam nut, so bending load concentrates there — hit something at full lock, land hard, or work the front end over rough desert and the shaft folds at that point before anything else in the steering gives up. There are three fixes. The 16mm tie rod support sleeve wraps that exact transition in CNC machined steel and ties it into the jam nut, which is the least expensive and least invasive answer. The billet half tie rod kit upgrades the outer half to a 7/8" FK rod end while keeping the factory inner. The full billet tie rod kit replaces the entire assembly on both sides and is the strongest option.

What does the Active Suspension Control Module guard actually protect?

The Active Suspension Control Module is the brain behind the Bronco Raptor's FOX Live Valve suspension, adjusting shock damping for road comfort and off-road capability. It hangs low on the passenger side of the frame near the rear suspension, and its plug connector is the most exposed part of it. When that connector is damaged, the vehicle loses all of its drive modes. The guard bolts to factory mounting points using stand-off posts and the existing hardware, shields the module and the connector from rocks and debris, and keeps every drive mode including Baja working. Factory modules are costly to replace, which is what makes it worth fitting before a trip rather than after one.

Will a lift kit affect the Bronco Raptor's Live Valve suspension?

No. Our lift collar and billet top hat kits are designed to maintain factory FOX Live Valve function and ride quality, and the Active Suspension Control Module keeps operating normally. Our billet upper control arms carry wheel position sensor mount plates so the system keeps reading suspension position after the arms are changed. Geiser progressive springs also run on the factory shocks and work with Live Valve with no recalibration required. Any change in front ride height does change camber and toe, so plan on an alignment afterward regardless of which route you take.

Should I buy lift collars, a billet top hat, or lift springs?

Collars and top hats set ride height using preload on the factory spring — cheaper, reversible, and the right answer if the vehicle sits how you want it when it is empty. A heavy duty billet top hat is often the best value of the three because it adds lift and replaces the failure-prone factory rubber-bushed top hat in the same part. Lift springs are the answer when you are carrying weight — a rear bumper, tire carrier, roof tent, fuel and gear — and the vehicle squats under it, because that is a spring rate problem a spacer cannot solve. Geiser's progressive rate set gives about 2.5" front and 1.5" rear and is rated for up to a 39" tire; Hyperco is stocked in individual 1" and 2" front and rear options so you can pick a combination.

Which Bronco Raptor skid plates should I buy first?

The rear differential skid plate, because the diff cover seal on the bottom has been a historic problem on off-road vehicles and the part is inexpensive relative to the repair. Then the full underbody skid plate kit, which extends from the stock front skid plate back behind the transfer case in three 3/16" aluminum plates on steel brackets. Then the fuel tank skid plate, because the large fuel tank hangs low and unshielded with minimal ground clearance — it pairs with the underbody kit for complete coverage. If you crawl rocks rather than run dirt roads, add the stock lower control arm skid plates. All of them are 100% bolt-on with no drilling and include their hardware.

Do the rear shock skid, mud flap and frame guard do the same thing?

No — they cover three different exposures on the same area of the vehicle, and they are designed to be run together. The rear shock skid protects the bottom of the shock and the rear axle mounts from rock damage, sharing the rear support mount bolts and using an angled front edge so it is harder to hang up on an obstacle. The rear shock guard mud flap shields the shock body from tire roost, mud and debris thrown back by the front tires, using an 18" by 7" nylon-reinforced rubber flap on a steel bracket bolted to the upper frame. The rear lower arm frame guard protects the lower link mount and the frame around it, improving the approach angle there, with an HDPE sliding face so it slides over rocks instead of dragging.

How do I stop my Bronco Raptor front alignment from moving?

Two parts, and they work from different directions. The lower arm rear pivot reinforcement brackets stiffen the rear mount of the front lower control arm — the point that bends under heavy front impact — and bolt on with factory hardware with no modifications. The lower A-arm slot block kit fills the factory adjustment slot and leaves only the bolt hole, so the arm cannot be knocked out of position, while still shipping with center lock and full offset left and right plates so the vehicle can still be aligned properly. If you are set up to weld and use the vehicle hard, the .125" 4130 lower arm pivot gusset kits add real strength at the frame mounts; the slot delete version locks the lower arm out entirely and is intended to be used with an adjustable upper arm. Get an alignment after any of this.

Will a light mount interfere with the parking sensors or adaptive cruise control?

No. Both our Bronco Raptor front light mounts are designed around the factory sensor locations. The light mount brackets use two bolts on the top and two on the front of the existing modular bumper structure without causing interference with the parking sensors or the adaptive cruise control system, and the full-width light mount kit attaches through the existing bumper surface bolts and is designed to maintain that same clearance. Neither requires drilling the bumper, and neither includes lights.

Do the roof GPS mounts need anything else to install?

Yes — they require an Adapt-A-Panel Bronco Raptor roof panel kit. The fold-down mounts are designed to hang from that panel system, so if you do not already have the roof panel kit you will need to add it in the same order. Each GPS mount kit includes the roof pivot hanger mount, the unit-specific adapter plate, one 7-hole aluminum insert, two 3-hole half-size inserts and a hardware kit. The GPS unit itself is not included. Check your unit carefully before ordering: the Lowrance HDS7-LIVE mount fits the LIVE and ELITE units and not the Carbon or Gen 3, and the HDS7-CARBON mount fits the Carbon and Gen 3 and not the LIVE or Elite.

Will standard Ford Bronco parts fit a Bronco Raptor?

Mostly no. The Bronco Raptor's track is 8.6 inches wider than a standard Bronco, the suspension is its own, and the steering hardware is a different size — the Bronco Raptor inner tie rod uses a 16mm thread where a standard Bronco uses 14mm. Assume a part built for a 6th Gen Bronco does not fit a Bronco Raptor unless the listing states both. A few of ours genuinely do cover both and say so, including the light mount brackets for the stock modular bumper, which fit the 2021–2025 6th Gen Bronco with the modular bumper as well as the Bronco Raptor.
