2021-2026 Ford F-150 Raptor Billet Rear Trailing Arm & Panhard Bar Kit - Ultra-Flex Joints
Description
Description
The complete billet rear 5-link for the 2021–2026 Ford F-150 Raptor and Raptor R: upper and lower trailing arms plus the panhard bar, all on our patent-pending Ultra-Flex joints. Every link in the rear suspension, CNC machined in-house in Mesa, Arizona, and bolted into the factory mount locations.
The factory rear locates the axle through rubber bushings at every joint, and each one deflects under load. This kit replaces all five links in one order, so none of that rubber is left behind. No cutting, no welding, no new shocks — stock-length geometry and 15 inches of rear wheel travel on the factory rear shock.
What Is In The Kit
- 2 FMI billet aluminum rear lower trailing arms, with spacers and hardware
- 2 FMI billet aluminum rear upper trailing arms, with spacers and hardware
- 1 FMI billet aluminum panhard bar (track bar) — reuses your factory nuts and bolts, so no new hardware is needed for it
- Ultra-Flex joints throughout — 17-4 stainless steel center ball in a serviceable urethane body
- External grease zerk at each joint, low profile so it stays accessible with the parts on the truck
- Aluminum ball post on the upper arms for the factory wheel position sensor, so the truck still reads ride height correctly — the lower arms never carry one
Each of the three parts is ordered in its own finish, so the lowers, uppers and panhard bar can match or contrast.
Why Replace All Five Links
The Gen 3 Raptor runs a five-link rear axle, and each link has its own job. The lower trailing arms carry acceleration and braking load. The upper trailing arms control axle wrap and hold pinion angle. The panhard bar is the only thing holding the axle centered side to side.
From the factory, every one of those connections is a rubber bushing, and the arms themselves are stamped sheet metal, folded into shape and welded at the seams. Rubber is chosen for isolation, not for location — it is soft on purpose. Put real load through the rear end and the bushings compress, the axle moves relative to where the chassis thinks it is, and the truck feels like it is steering from the back. Under hard acceleration the same compliance shows up as wheel hop.
A machined billet link is one piece with no seams and material placed where the load actually is, and the Ultra-Flex joint gives it a defined pivot instead of a squishy one. Doing all five at once is the difference between a rear end that is mostly located and one that is fully located.
The Ultra-Flex Joint
Our patent-pending joint, used at every pivot in this kit.
How it is built
A 17-4 stainless steel center ball pressed into a urethane body, which is pressed into a laser-cut stainless steel outer sleeve closed by two stainless side caps. The cartridge presses into the link and is retained with a circlip. The grease zerk threads into a slotted hole in the sleeve, so the sleeve cannot rotate in the link.
Why it matters
- Greaseable on the truck through the external zerk — no removing a link to service the joint.
- Quiet. The urethane damps impact and isolates road noise instead of squeaking and clunking the way a worn uniball does.
- Corrosion resistant. Stainless internals that stay constantly lubricated — what you want in wet, humid or salted conditions.
- Rebuildable for the cost of a urethane body, not a complete joint assembly.
- Protects the link. The stainless sleeve means urethane never works directly against your billet aluminum, so the bore stays true.
Is This Kit Right For Your Truck?
The panhard bar in this kit is fixed length, so ride height decides whether the complete kit is the right order.
Stock or near-stock rear ride height → this kit
If the rear of the truck sits where Ford put it, the axle is already centered and the fixed billet bar is correct. This is the one-order way to replace everything.
Lifted rear → arms plus an adjustable panhard bar
Raise the rear and the panhard bar swings through a new arc, pushing the axle off center — one rear tire sits closer to its fender than the other. A fixed-length bar cannot correct that. Order the Ultra-Flex lower arms and Ultra-Flex upper arms separately, with the adjustable heim joint bar or the adjustable Johnny Joint bar.
Long travel build → a different kit entirely
Our long travel rear changes the geometry and uses the adjustable 41.5" panhard bar. See the full travel ladder on Gen 3 Raptor Rear Suspension.

Ultra-Flex Or Uniball?
We build the Gen 3 billet rear arms two ways. Both are billet aluminum, both bolt into the factory mounts, both give the same 15 inches of rear wheel travel. The joint is the difference.
Ultra-Flex — this kit. Greaseable in place, quieter as it wears, rebuildable with a urethane body, better in wet or salted conditions. The choice for a truck that still gets daily driven.
Uniball — 1" FK uniballs, tighter and more direct, and the uniball is a replaceable wear item. See the uniball rear lower arms and uniball rear upper arms.
Fitment
Fits the Gen 3 and Gen 3.5 Ford F-150 Raptor, model years 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025 and 2026, including the Raptor R.
The Raptor R uses the same rear suspension architecture as the V6 truck, so this kit fits it unchanged. Stock-length only — this is not a long travel kit and it does not change rear geometry.
Running a 2017–2020 Gen 2 Raptor? The Gen 2 has a leaf-sprung rear and needs a Gen 2 to Gen 3 rear conversion before this kit applies.
Installation
Bolt-on. Every link uses the factory mount locations, so there is no cutting, no welding, no fabrication and no alignment required afterwards at stock ride height. The arms install with the spacers and hardware in the box; the panhard bar goes in on the factory nuts and bolts you take off the stock bar.
Support the truck safely and take the load off the rear axle before removing the factory links. We recommend the work is done by an experienced individual or shop. Guides are at Install Instructions, and we do in-house installation in Mesa if you would rather hand it over.
Finishes
Four options for each part: raw billet aluminum, black anodized, FOX orange anodized and blue anodized. The lower arms, upper arms and panhard bar are each chosen separately, so you can run one color throughout or mix them.
Raw is a finish choice, not a lesser part — plenty of builds run raw billet deliberately for the machined-aluminum look. Anodized parts should be cared for as anodized aluminum; see the care notes before you take a pressure washer or a harsh wheel cleaner to them.
Questions
What does this kit replace?
All five links of the Gen 3 Raptor rear suspension: both lower trailing arms, both upper trailing arms and the panhard bar. Nothing rubber is left locating the rear axle.
Do these fit a 2025 or 2026 Raptor?
Yes. The kit fits 2021 through 2026 Gen 3 and Gen 3.5 trucks, Raptor R included.
How much rear wheel travel does this give?
15 inches, with the factory rear shock still in place. More than that means changing the rear geometry — the through-the-bed bed cage kit gets 17 inches and the long travel cantilever kit 19, both on Gen 3 Raptor Rear Suspension.
Is a panhard bar the same as a track bar?
Yes. Same part, two names. It locates the rear axle side to side.
Does the kit include hardware?
The upper and lower arms ship with their spacers and installation hardware. The panhard bar reuses the factory nuts and bolts at both ends, so it does not need any.
Can I use this kit on a lifted truck?
Not ideally. A lifted rear needs an adjustable panhard bar to re-center the axle, which this kit does not include. Buy the arms separately with an adjustable bar — see the panel above.
Will the factory wheel position sensor still work?
Yes. The upper arms carry an aluminum ball post for the factory wheel position sensor, so the truck reads ride height the way Ford intended. The lower arms never carry one — the sensor only ever mounts to an upper link.
Will it make the ride harsh?
No. The urethane body damps impact and isolates road noise rather than transmitting it into the chassis, so you get precise axle location without the harshness that usually comes with metal-on-metal.
How do I service the joints?
Grease them through the external zerks with everything still on the truck. When the urethane eventually wears, you replace that one part rather than a complete joint assembly. Service parts are under Serviceable Parts.
Do I need an alignment afterwards?
No. Stock-length links into factory mounts do not change ride height or rear geometry.
Where is it made?
Designed, machined and finished in-house at our facility in Mesa, Arizona, USA.
Finish The Rear End
With all five links done, these are what is left at stock ride height:
- Rear bump stop kit and rear limit strap kit — the cheapest real gain on the truck
- Rear link frame mount gusset kit — the factory link mounts are the known crack point on a truck that gets landed
Buying in stages instead? The parts are sold individually: panhard bar first, then lower trailing arms, then upper trailing arms. Side by side on Gen 3 Rear Links & Panhard Bar.
