Replacement urethane tie rod boots (steering rack boots) for the Foutz Motorsports billet tie rod kit on the 2024–2026 Ford Ranger Raptor, 2022–2026 Bronco Raptor and 2021–2026 Bronco.
The boot is the only thing standing between the inside of the steering rack and the trail. Tear one and water, mud and grit have a straight path into the rack. This kit puts the seal back without replacing anything else, and every boot ships with its own hose clamp and zip tie.
Single or Pair — Which Do You Need?
Every FMI billet tie rod kit runs two urethane boots, one on each side of the steering rack.
- Single: one side is torn or missing and the other is still sealing.
- Pair: both boots are worn, or you want to refresh both sides at once.

Why the Tie Rod Boot Matters
The tie rod boot — also called a steering rack boot or rack and pinion boot — is a flexible bellows that covers the joint where the tie rod meets the steering rack. It flexes with every steering input and every inch of suspension travel while keeping the rack sealed.
While it's in one piece, the rack internals stay clean. When a boot rips or goes missing on the trail, water, dirt and grit have a direct path into the steering rack. Replacing a torn boot is quick; replacing a contaminated rack is not.
