When the front suspension extends to full droop, something has to stop it. On a stock setup that is the shock itself, topping out against its own internal stop and pulling on the top shock mount.

We have seen several trucks rip out the top cap of the shock mount off-road from excessive top out pressure, and the same load is behind the front top out noise you hear going over a speed bump or when the front suspension comes off the ground. It matters even more on a truck running aftermarket springs.

A limit strap stops the droop before the shock does. The strap takes the load, so you are not relying on the shock alone to stop the wheel, and the shock and its top mount are protected from premature damage.

• Straps: 12" long, 4 layers of military grade webbing, with black plated steel mounting tabs at each end. Built to withstand abuse without the stretching and wear you get from lower-grade straps.
• Lower arm brackets: secure around the front of the stock lower control arm, MIG welded in-house and powder coated in hammer black for durability and strength.
• Built-in bump stop pad: makes it easy to add a front bump stop kit at any time.

Fits the 2017–2020 Gen 2 Ford F-150 Raptor with the factory stock lower a-arm.

FOX 3.0 upgrade: this kit will not work with FOX upgraded 3.0 hoses without rebuilding the shocks and hose kit.

The lower brackets bolt on to the cast aluminum stock lower arm. The upper limit strap tabs must be welded to the frame, so this kit should be installed by a qualified welder or fabricator.

Does this work with my stock lower arms?

Yes. This kit is designed for the factory stock lower a-arm on the Gen 2 Raptor.

Is any welding required?

Yes. The upper limit strap tabs weld to the frame. Have the kit installed by a qualified welder or fabricator.

Do I need limit straps with aftermarket springs?

That is where a limit strap matters most. The strap stops the droop so the shock and its top mount do not have to.

Will it work with FOX 3.0 shocks?

Not with FOX upgraded 3.0 hoses unless the shocks and hose kit are rebuilt.

How long are the straps?

12", with 4 layers of military grade webbing and black plated steel mounting tabs.

Can I add front bump stops later?

Yes. A bump stop pad is built in, so a front bump stop kit can be added at any time.

Is mounting hardware included?

Yes. The kit includes the hardware for the lower control arm brackets and both strap mounts, listed above.
