A full length aluminum rear shock guard for the 2010–2014 Gen 1 Ford F-150 Raptor, built to completely replace the factory plastic guard. It bolts to the stock mounting holes in the factory lower shock mount and is sold as a single guard.
On a Gen 1 Raptor that sees real dirt, roost thrown by the front tires hits the rear shocks hard enough to damage them in as little as 1000 miles. The factory plastic guard does not hold up to that. This guard protects the lower bolt area and the main shock shaft.

Why Replace The Plastic Guard
The Gen 1 Raptor is very capable in the dirt, but heavy off-road use can cause premature damage to the rear lower shock guards. Rocks and dirt kicked up by the front tires are aimed straight at the rear shocks, and once the plastic guard is worn through or broken the shock shaft and lower mount are exposed.
A damaged shock shaft can tear the seal and lose the shock. This guard replaces the plastic part completely with a much stronger aluminum one that covers the lower bolt area and the main shock shaft.
