A full length aluminum rear shock guard for the Gen 2 and Gen 3 Ford Raptor and Raptor R, sold as a single guard. It completely covers the stock plastic rear shock guard to keep it alive.
Front tire roost hammers the rear shocks. Both rear shocks can take heavy damage in as little as 1,000 miles in the dirt. This guard covers the lower bolt area and the plastic guard that protects the main shock shaft.

Why Cover The Factory Shock Guard
The rear shocks sit directly behind the front tires, so every rock the fronts throw is aimed at them. The factory plastic shock guard is there to protect the shock shaft, but plastic takes that abuse poorly, and heavy off-road use can wear it out early.
This guard goes over the top of the plastic guard and covers it full length, along with the lower bolt area. The plastic keeps doing its job and the aluminum takes the hits.
How It Is Built
Made from 6061-T6 aluminum tubing and laser cut.
Fitment
- 2017–2020 Gen 2 Raptor: requires 1 guard, for the passenger side.
- 2021–2026 Gen 3 Raptor and 2023–2026 Raptor R: requires 2 guards, one for each side, since both rear shocks face forward.
Only fits factory shocks.
Questions
How many guards do I need?
One for a 2017–2020 Raptor (passenger side). Two for a 2021–2026 Raptor or Raptor R, one per side. The guard is sold individually.
Does it replace the plastic shock guard?
No. It covers the stock plastic guard completely so the plastic guard survives.
Will it fit aftermarket shocks?
No. It only fits factory shocks.
Is hardware included?
Yes. Hex head bolts are included.
