The rear of a TRX runs out of travel before the front does, and when it does the hit goes straight into the frame. A hydraulic bump stop is what turns that into a controlled stop instead of a bang.
This kit installs into the factory rear spring buckets with minimal modification and takes a 2.5" bump stop with 2.5" of travel.
What It Does
- Improves the ride in rough terrain — the hydraulic bump stop absorbs the last part of the travel rather than letting the suspension slam into its stop
- 2.5" diameter bump stop with 2.5" of travel, enough to soak up the big hits
- Installs in the factory spring buckets with minimal modifications

Choosing Your Option
Select in the options above:
- FOX or ADS — the mount sections plus a matched pair of hydraulic bump stops, ready to install.
- NONE — the mount sections and hardware only. Choose this if you already have bump stops, or if your shock package came with them. You get the mounting side of the job without paying for cans you do not need.
Adding Rear Ride Height
If you want the back of the truck sitting higher as well as landing better, the 2027 Ram TRX rear spring spacer lift kit stacks with this kit. Plates come in .75" and 1" thicknesses, so you can dial the amount rather than taking a fixed lift.
Doing both at once makes sense — the spring bucket is apart either way.

2027 Ram 1500 TRX, factory rear spring buckets.
The 2021, 2022, 2023 and 2024 TRX is a different generation and uses its own rear bump stop kit. Ram did not build a TRX for 2025 or 2026, so a part listed for 2021-2024 does not carry forward to the 2027 truck.

What does a hydraulic bump stop change?
It controls the last inches of suspension travel. Instead of the axle hitting a hard stop, the bump stop meters the energy out, which is what lets you keep speed through rough ground.
Are the bump stops included?
Depends on the option you pick. FOX and ADS include a matched pair. NONE is mount sections and hardware only, for trucks that already have bump stops.
Does this modify the truck permanently?
It installs into the factory spring buckets with minimal modifications.
Can I run this with a rear lift?
Yes — the rear spring spacer lift kit is designed to work alongside it, in .75" or 1" plates.
