This is the mount that carries the secondary bypass shock on a Foutz Motorsports mid or long travel 2027 Ram TRX front end. It is not a standalone upgrade — it exists because a second shock needs somewhere solid to live.
It also does structural work: the tower reinforces the top of the factory coil bucket and supports the back side of the upper arm bolt, which is where a hard-run front end starts to complain.
What the Tower Does
- Mounts the secondary bypass shock on the Foutz mid and long travel front kits
- Reinforces the top of the factory coil bucket, which is carrying more load once a second shock is working through it
- Supports the back side of the upper arm bolt with the tower upright
- Works with the Foutz fabricated lower control arm
- MIG welded in-house, one right and one left side mount included
Before You Order — Read This
The shock is not included, and it is not a shelf part. This tower is designed around a custom layout bypass shock built as part of a Foutz mid or long travel front kit.
- Talk to your Foutz Motorsports sales rep before ordering so the correct shock is specified for your front kit.
- Ordering the tower on its own, without the matching shock, leaves you with a mount and nothing to put in it.
Installation — Welding Required
- Welding to the frame is required.
- Installation should be performed by a qualified welder or fabricator.
This is not a bolt-on part. If you are not set up to weld on a frame, budget for a shop to do it.
Fitment
2027 Ram 1500 TRX running a Foutz Motorsports mid or long travel front suspension kit.
The 2021, 2022, 2023 and 2024 TRX is a different generation and uses the 2021-2024 bypass shock mount kit. There was no TRX built between those two runs.

Does a bypass shock come with it?
No. The tower is the mount only, and the shock it carries is a custom layout piece. Call before ordering so we can spec the right one for your kit.
Is this a standalone upgrade?
No. It is an add-on to a Foutz mid or long travel front suspension kit, not a part you bolt to an otherwise stock truck.
How many towers are in the kit?
Two — one right side and one left side mount.
Do I have to weld it on?
Yes. Welding to the frame is required and the job belongs with a qualified welder or fabricator.
Does this fit a 2021-2024 TRX?
No. See the Fitment section above for that truck's version.
