2025+ Ram RHO Rear Differential Skid Plate Kit
Description
Description
A race-inspired rear differential skid plate built specifically for the 2025 and newer Ram 1500 RHO. It protects the rear axle from rock damage, with the focus on the bottom of the rear differential cover seal.
The seal at the bottom of the rear diff cover is a known problem on RHO trucks that go off-road. This skid covers and supports the lower back plate so rocks cannot catch it and pull the gasket seal loose.
Why Protect The Diff Cover
The rear differential hangs at the lowest point of the axle, and the cover faces backward, right where rocks and ledges catch it as the truck drives over them. When something snags the bottom edge of the cover, it can pull the gasket seal loose and the axle starts losing gear oil.
This skid plate covers and supports the lower back plate of the diff. Instead of a rock catching the edge of the cover, it slides off the skid, and the seal stays where it belongs.
Fitment
Built specifically for the 2025 and newer Ram 1500 RHO.
This skid will not work with aftermarket differential covers other than those specified.
Installation
We recommend this skid plate is installed by a professional, certified mechanic.
