2024 Ranger Raptor Billet Aluminum Rear Watts Link kit

The all new Ranger Raptor has amazing suspension and a very unique design with a rear watts link system to keep the rear axle centered in the truck while the rear suspension cycles through the travel. 

This type of system maintains the axle position with the least amount of right to left movement possible.  The watts link style motion stays more consistent through travel than a conventional panhard bar type system.

While the Ford Factory design works great the team at Foutz Motorsports took the task to improve on the design and add a touch of flare by making all of the components out of billet aluminum.  

The new parts are made from 6061-T6 aluminum and CNC machined for the ultimate strength and quality.  The center link uses 1" uniballs for smooth motion and strength.  The frame side mounts use our proprietary and patent pending Ultra-Flex joint to keep the noise down and provide a durable and serviceable joint.

The kit comes with:

  • 1 upper billet aluminum link with 1" uniball on the center side and Ultra-Flex joint at the frame side. 
  • 1 lower billet aluminum link with 1" uniball on the center side and Ultra-Flex joint at the frame side.
  • 1 Center billet aluminum link to connect the arms to the rear axle housing.  The center link also uses FK 1" uniball.
  • 1 Center billet aluminum link to connect the arms to the rear axle housing.  The center link also uses FK 1" uniball.
  • Also comes with required hardware needed to install the kit.

 Improper cleaning can permanently damage the anodic coating on billet aluminum parts, causing fading, staining, or discoloration. 

SOAPS / CLEANERS THAT DAMAGE :
High-pH (alkaline) soaps, degreasers, and acidic wheel cleaners can fade, stain, or strip anodized aluminum, especially when they contain sodium hydroxide (lye) or other strong acids. Heavy-duty fast-acting alkaline cleaners designed for engine bays or wheels should not be used on anodized surfaces.

❌ WHAT TO AVOID :
High-pH (alkaline) cleaners
• Heavy-duty degreasers
• Wheels / engine bay cleaners
• Oven cleaners (e.g., Yellow Cap, Easy-Off)
• Products containing sodium hydroxide (lye)
• Damage the anodic coating 
Hot Surfaces
• Never wash in direct sunlight, as heat accelerates chemical damage
 Acidic cleaners
• Wheel cleaners with strong acids
• Nitric or sulfuric-based cleaners
• Aggressive aluminum cleaners
 Aluminum brighteners or etchers

• Products designed for raw or polished aluminum can strip the anodized coating

✅ HOW TO PROTECT ANODIZED ALUMINUM:

pH-neutral soaps 
• only use cleaners with a pH between 6–8
Wash on cool surfaces
• Avoid direct sunlight or hot parts
Test small areas first
• Always try new products on a small, hidden area
Safe Alternatives:
• Isopropyl alcohol (used carefully and sparingly)
• Mild Automotive Car Wash Soap
