Description
A rear shock guard mud flap kit for the 2021–2024 Ram TRX that shields the rear shocks from rocks, mud and debris thrown back by the front tires. An 18" long by 7" wide nylon-reinforced rubber flap on a steel bracket that bolts into the upper frame, sold as a pair.
The front tires throw roost straight at the rear shocks. In as little as 1,000 miles of off-road driving, both rear shocks can suffer serious damage from it. This kit puts a flap in the way, which prevents that wear and damage to the shock bodies.

Why Guard The Rear Shocks
Everything the front tires pick up gets thrown rearward: gravel, rock chips, mud. On the TRX the rear shocks sit right in that path. Repeated hits chip the shock body, and grit packed around the shaft and seals wears them out early.
A flap ahead of each shock catches that roost before it gets there, which matters most on a truck that sees harsh off-road conditions.
How It Is Built
- Flap: heavy-duty, thick nylon-reinforced rubber, 18" long by 7" wide, fully covering the rear shock
- Bracket: steel, laser cut, CNC bent and MIG welded in-house
- Finish: hammer black powder coat
- Mounting: the bracket bolts into the upper frame of the TRX
