This Fabricated Coil Bucket Kit is designed specifically for the 2017–2020 Ford Raptor (Gen 2) as a complete replacement for the factory stamped-steel coil bucket assembly.

It replaces the OEM coil bucket with a fully fabricated boxed-steel design built for high-load off-road use and mid-travel suspension applications.

CAUSE OF STOCK FAILURE

On the Gen 2 Raptor, the factory stamped coil bucket and upper frame mounting area is prone to a known issue where the spring bucket begins to peel away from the side of the frame under repeated high-load off-road use.

This typically occurs due to:

• Repeated high-speed desert impacts
• Increased spring rates and larger tires
• Long-travel or mid-travel suspension setups
• Frame-side flex concentrated at the coil bucket mounting zone

Over time, the factory structure cannot adequately distribute load, leading to separation, cracking, and deformation at the frame-side mounting point.

UPGRADED SOLUTION

This kit is engineered specifically to eliminate the Gen 2 Raptor's factory coil bucket failure by completely replacing the OEM assembly with a fabricated high-strength design.

The fabricated coil bucket features a longer structural support leg that welds directly into the frame, allowing suspension loads to be distributed deeper into the chassis instead of concentrating stress at the factory mounting location.

An integrated lower corner gusset is incorporated into the design, replacing the need for the standalone corner gusset upgrade previously offered for Gen 2 Raptors.
