2027 - up Ram TRX Performance

A new platform means the aftermarket is thin for the first year or two, and a lot of what appears early is an existing part with a new listing. We would rather tell you that than pretend otherwise.

The Alcon TRX big brake kit is listed 2021 and up. Before you order for a 2027 truck, confirm the fitment on the product page or call (480) 718-9800 with your VIN. We would rather answer the question than ship you the wrong caliper.

Where we do have 2027-specific parts, they are cut for the 2027 truck — see the suspension and protection collections below. We build in-house, which is why those exist already rather than waiting on a supplier.

We are a suspension and chassis shop, and we are consistent about this: on a heavy, fast truck the limiting factors are suspension, brakes, and the strength of the parts holding the wheels on. None of those are horsepower.

A TRX already makes more power than the chassis can put down on dirt. What it runs short of is thermal capacity in the brakes and control at the ends of suspension travel. Fix those and the truck covers ground faster and more safely. Add boost instead and you have a truck that gets to the corner sooner with the same brakes.

If you are building a 2027 TRX from scratch, the honest order is bump stop and limit strap control first, then arms and tie rods, then brakes, then everything else.

Does the Alcon kit definitely fit a 2027 TRX?

It is listed for 2021 and up. Confirm on the product page for your model year, or call us with your VIN before ordering. On a brand new platform we would rather check than assume.

Will it clear my wheels?

Big brake kits need caliper clearance, and it is the inner barrel shape that decides it rather than diameter alone. Check the clearance information on the product page against your wheels before ordering, especially with an aftermarket wheel that has a lot of inboard spoke shape.

Do I need a rear kit?

Front-only is the standard and effective upgrade — most of the braking work happens up front.

Is it street legal?

Yes. A performance street and off-road brake upgrade, not a race-only component.
