Gen 2 Raptor Performance Upgrades

Suspension, steering and chassis upgrades for the 2017 and newer Ford Raptor — billet and fabricated control arms, fabricated spindles, spring packages, rear link conversions and bed storage.

Machined and fabricated in Mesa, Arizona by the shop that built the first Raptor to race the Baja 1000.

Front Suspension & Steering

Control arms and spindles

Gen 2 billet upper arm kits at stock length and Gen 2 fabricated front spindle kits — stronger than the factory parts without changing track width.

Spring packages

Geiser +2.5" and +3" front springs for Gen 2 trucks running wider front geometry, plus factory spring perch keepers.

Sway bars

Front sway bar kits are available in versions for the stock lower arm and for a fabricated lower arm. The version has to match the arm actually on your truck — the stock-arm kit will not mount to a fabricated arm.

Chassis reinforcement

Spring tower corner weld-in support gussets for trucks seeing hard use.

Rear Suspension

The Gen 2 left the factory leaf sprung. The 5-link mid travel rear suspension kit with a through-the-bed bypass shock converts it to a coil-sprung link rear with the shock mounted through the bed floor, which is how the travel is gained without the shock running out of room.

This is welding work and a shop-level job, not a bolt-on. It is also the single largest change available to how a Gen 2 behaves over rough ground at speed.

Rear bump stop kits shared with the 2015+ F-150 are available for trucks staying leaf sprung.

Bed Storage & Interior

Modular bed organizers for the 2017–2024 Raptor, including versions with a slide-out cargo tray and an add-on rear cargo slide tray. The organizer quick-releases out of the bed and the mounting cleats sit flush with the bed ribs, so the floor stays usable when it is out.

Centre dash panel mount kits by Adapt-A-Panel for the 2017–2020 Gen 2 Raptor and 2015–2020 F-150, for mounting switches, GPS or comms without cutting the dash.

Protection

Full-length aluminium shock guards for the rear shocks, rear lower shock skid kits, and factory race 2.5 x 2.45 bump stops. More armour in Gen 2 Protection Kits and Off-Road Protection Kits.

Gen 2 Performance FAQs

What years does this cover?

Primarily the 2017–2020 Gen 2 Ford Raptor, with some parts spanning later trucks. Check the fitment listed on each product page.

Where should I start on a stock Gen 2?

Bump stop and limit strap control first, then arms, then shocks. Getting the ends of travel under control changes the truck more per dollar than anything else, and it is the step most people skip.

Do I need the stock-arm or fabricated-arm sway bar kit?

It has to match the lower control arm on your truck. Look under the front end before ordering.

Is the 5-link rear conversion reversible?

Not practically. It involves welding to the chassis. Treat it as a permanent change and have it done by a shop that has built one before.

Are these parts made in the USA?

Foutz-branded components are machined and fabricated in-house in Mesa, Arizona. Partner-brand items such as Geiser springs and Adapt-A-Panel mounts are made by those manufacturers.
