These Billet Top Hats are engineered to provide maximum strength and reliability for your stock shock upper mounts on the Ram TRX (2021-2024) 

CNC-machined from 6061-T6 aluminum, each top hat is designed for a perfect fit and long-lasting durability. High-quality FK uniballs are used in every kit to ensure superior strength and performance, while the 17-4 stainless steel spacers provide exceptional quality and long life.

WHY STOCK TOP HATS FAIL 

The factory top hats rely on a rubber bushing to support the shock shaft, which is a known weak point—especially with aftermarket springs. If a stock top hat fails:

•  The shock can drop completely out of the spring bucket

•  Surrounding suspension components may be damaged

•  Expensive repairs can result—damage that can be avoided with a stronger billet top hat

Upgrading to the Foutz Motorsports Billet Top Hat eliminates this failure point, giving you confidence and durability for off-road and performance driving.

 REQUIRED  UNIBALL  MAINTENANCE  &  SERVICE  NOTICE   

 These billet top hats feature a serviceable and replaceable uniball that will require periodic maintenance over time

•  Serviceable & Replaceable Uniball: The uniball is pressed into the billet aluminum housing manufactured by Foutz Motorsports and is fully serviceable and replaceable.
•  Normal Wear Item: Like all wear components, the uniball will naturally wear over time depending on driving conditions, usage, and environment.
•  Maintenance Intervals May Vary: Service life and maintenance intervals will differ between users based on vehicle use and operating conditions.
•  Periodic Inspection highly Recommended: The uniball should be inspected periodically and replaced when signs of wear appear.
•  Premium FK Uniballs: Although uniballs are not manufactured by Foutz Motorsports, we exclusively use industry-leading FK rod end uniballs to deliver maximum strength, quality, and durability.

ANODIZED CARE & DISCLAIMER:   read before ordering
⚠️ WARNING:
 Improper cleaning can permanently damage the anodic coating on billet aluminum parts, causing fading, staining, or discoloration. 

SOAPS / CLEANERS THAT DAMAGE :
High-pH (alkaline) soaps, degreasers, and acidic wheel cleaners can fade, stain, or strip anodized aluminum, especially when they contain sodium hydroxide (lye) or other strong acids. Heavy-duty fast-acting alkaline cleaners designed for engine bays or wheels should not be used on anodized surfaces.

❌ WHAT TO AVOID :
High-pH (alkaline) cleaners
• Heavy-duty degreasers
• Wheels / engine bay cleaners
• Oven cleaners (e.g., Yellow Cap, Easy-Off)
• Products containing sodium hydroxide (lye)
• Damage the anodic coating 
Hot Surfaces
• Never wash in direct sunlight, as heat accelerates chemical damage
 Acidic cleaners
• Wheel cleaners with strong acids
• Nitric or sulfuric-based cleaners
• Aggressive aluminum cleaners
 Aluminum brighteners or etchers

• Products designed for raw or polished aluminum can strip the anodized coating

✅ HOW TO PROTECT ANODIZED ALUMINUM:

pH-neutral soaps 
• only use cleaners with a pH between 6–8
Wash on cool surfaces
• Avoid direct sunlight or hot parts
Test small areas first
• Always try new products on a small, hidden area
Safe Alternatives:
• Isopropyl alcohol (used carefully and sparingly)
• Mild Automotive Car Wash Soap
