Making Off-Road Great Since '98Who We Are
Foutz Motorsports LLC is an American-made off-road performance company headquartered in Mesa, Arizona. Founded in 1998 by Greg Foutz, FMI designs, engineers, and manufactures premium suspension systems, truck accessories, and performance parts for the Ford Raptor, Ranger Raptor, Bronco, Bronco Raptor, Ram TRX, Ram RHO, Toyota Tacoma, Ford F-150, and Ford Super Duty. Every product that leaves our Mesa facility carries the same race-proven DNA that has carried our trucks across the Baja 1000 finish line four times.

"We are not a drop-shipper. We are not a reseller. We are builders — real engineers and fabricators who design and CNC-machine parts in-house, test them in the desert, and refine them until they are the best in the business. If it has our name on it, it earned it."
Our Story: Decades of Desert Racing DNA
Long before the Ford Raptor was a household name, Greg Foutz and his team were chasing checkered flags across the Baja Peninsula. Our story doesn't start with a brochure — it starts with dirt, sweat, and a burning desire to go faster on the world's roughest roads.
In 1996, the Foutz Motorsports team took their first Baja 1000 victory, racing a Ford Ranger in the Stock Mini class. Two years later, in 1998, Ford Motor Company personally selected Greg Foutz to build the very first F-250 Super Duty truck to compete in the prestigious Stock Full size truck class. That year, the team didn't just show up — they won the Vegas to Reno race, the longest off-road race held in the United States.

Over the following years, the team compiled a record that no other production truck team can match: four Stock Full class championships and the distinction of being the only team in history to win the Grand Championship — the overall season title for all cars and trucks combined. Add four Baja 1000 wins and it becomes clear why Ford keeps calling Foutz Motorsports when they need something done right.
The Raptor — Before There Was a Raptor
In 2008, Ford Motor Company approached Greg Foutz with an ambitious assignment: build and race the very first Ford Raptor-R prototype at the Baja 1000 — before the truck ever hit a dealer showroom. Greg and the team accepted, built the truck, raced it down the Baja Peninsula, and finished. That truck became the blueprint for one of the most iconic performance pickups ever produced.
In 2010, Ford called again for the EcoBoost engine launch — once again selecting Foutz Motorsports to race in the Baja 1000. The team delivered another win, crossing the finish line in La Paz, Mexico. In 2013, Ford turned to Greg yet again — this time to build and manage the team racing the prototype all-aluminum F-150 body at the Baja 1000, a key milestone for the launch of the 2015 Ford F-150.

More recently, the team campaigned a completely stock 2017 Ford Raptor Super Cab through 854 miles of the most punishing terrain on earth, finishing the Baja 1000 with just 40 seconds to spare on the 36-hour time limit. Then — just to prove a point — they drove the same truck home to Mesa, Arizona from the finish line in Ensenada. Built Ford Tough? Foutz Motorsports proved it.

What We Build: American-Made Off-Road Performance
Everything Foutz Motorsports sells is designed with one goal: to make your truck perform better in the real world. Whether you're running sand dunes, chasing trails through the Sonoran Desert, overlanding with your family, or want your Raptor to eat up highway miles with more confidence — we have the parts and the expertise to get you there.
All components are fabricated and CNC-machined in-house at our Mesa, Arizona facility. We use premium FK bearings and rod ends, with spacers CNC-machined from 17-4 stainless steel for exceptional strength and long-term durability. This is not off-the-shelf imported hardware. This is American craftsmanship built to race standards.

In-House Manufacturing: Built in Mesa, Arizona
Unlike many aftermarket brands that outsource production overseas, Foutz Motorsports engineers and manufactures its products in-house at our Mesa, Arizona facility. This is a deliberate choice — not a talking point.

Building in-house means we control quality at every step. When a suspension kit ships from FMI, it has been designed by engineers who also race, fabricated by welders who understand what happens at mile 700 of the Baja 1000, and inspected by a team that refuses to put its name on anything less than the best.
- CNC machining of billet aluminum components
- In-house fabrication of 4130 chromoly steel control arms and chassis components
- Fixture-built production welded parts for consistent repeatability
- CAD engineering and prototyping — we can take your idea from a sketch to production
- Full custom fabrication for one-off builds and specialty projects
- Premium FK bearings, rod ends, and 17-4 stainless steel spacers throughout
