An adapter kit that mates the Ford V6 3.5L EcoBoost engine to a Turbo 350 or Turbo 400 transmission. Made from 6061-T6 aluminum plate, waterjet cut to size and then final machined.
Putting a GM three-speed automatic behind a Ford engine means the bellhousing pattern, starter and flex plate all have to line up. This kit retains the stock flex plate and works with the stock Ford starter from the 3.5L engine kit.

Requires a custom torque converter.
Why An Adapter Plate
An adapter plate sits between the engine block and the transmission bellhousing and translates one bolt pattern to the other, while holding the transmission centered on the crankshaft. Machining the plate after waterjet cutting is what gets the bores and faces where they need to be.
