All of our race trucks are CAD designed to ensure quality fit and finish. Its critical to do the chassis design and tooling together to make sure everything comes out the way you want it to. Attention to detail in the design is very important to make sure you didn't forget an important component and later don't have space to install that part. Do you build the whole truck, or just the chassis?

Either. We build complete race trucks ready to drive away, and we sell basic chassis kits for owners who want to do the assembly themselves and keep the budget down.

Can I start from my existing truck?

Yes. A modified production truck is a legitimate starting point and is how a lot of people get to their first race. From there the path runs up to a full tube chassis.

Why does CAD design matter on a race truck?

Because the expensive mistakes happen in the layout, not the welding. Designing the chassis and the tooling together means the parts you have not installed yet still have somewhere to go, and you are not cutting a finished chassis apart to make room.
