The whole cartridge presses into the arm and is retained with a circlip, and the grease zerk threads into a slotted hole in the sleeve so the sleeve cannot rotate in the arm.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe practical result: you grease it through an external zerk with the arm still bolted to the truck, the urethane keeps it quiet instead of squeaking and clunking as it wears, the stainless internals stay lubricated so it shrugs off wet and salted roads, and when the urethane eventually wears you replace that one part rather than a complete uniball assembly. The stainless sleeve also means the urethane never works directly against your billet aluminum, so the bore in the arm is protected.
