Greg began his off-road career by racing motorcycles in 1988. By 1990, he had moved up to mini-pickups with a high school friend helping with a Ford Courier. Four years later, he made the transition to the Stock-Mini class as full time co-driver for the M&M Motorsports Ford Ranger entry. In his first race, the team garnered a second place.
Greg acquired initial sponsorship from Ford Motor Company in 1995. Ford supplied the Foutz Motorsports team with a Ford Ranger truck and Greg, and new co-driver, Steve Wheeler, began a successful relationship with the Detroit based company. The team won the coveted Baja 1000 in late 1996. In late 1997 Greg attended Ford’s Driver Orientation Program in Dearborn, Michigan. Shortly after that, Ford Motor Company contracted the team to build the first new F-250 Super Duty pickup. The truck was campaigned for the first time in the 1999 Best in the Desert series. The Stock Full truck won the series’ premiere race, the Vegas to Reno in its first season. Greg and team won 3 back to back championships and in 2005 also won the Grand Championship setting a record being the first to ever win the Grand Championship in a stock production class.
Greg has excellent communication and promotional skills and projects a good public image. He studied computer science in college and has attended a Dale Carnage class for personal improvement. Greg has proven successful not only in the racing field but also in business. He started his own company at the age of 19 and currently owns and manages Adminovation, a highly successful software company.
